Hiya Would Like To Chat With Someone Who Also Has Epilepsy Like Me

Hiya my name is anne-marie,and am 39 years old.suffer with epilepsy due to having a brain haemorage when i was very young,so now i have fits and what i call abscences daily.stress tends to set the big seizures off,but i always have abscences daily.As anyone with epilepsy knows its an awful condition to have,and no-one understands how you truly feel unless you suffer it.the side affects alone from all my medication is awful,but it would be lovely to just speak with others who also suffer the same condition and who understand.thankyou for reading my post,and i will be a good friend.love Anne-Marie

I also suffer from epilepsy. It started when I was about 15, but was getting better, until last New Years when I had three grand mal seizures in a row, it's been thankfully 6 wks since I've had my last grand mal seizure, but I regularly get the absenses and smaller seizures they are barely noticeable, my hands my shake for a split second so I could end up dropping something or things like that. I understand how frustrating it can get too, I get really annoyed sometimes, cos sometimes it feels like I've no control over my own body and that annoys the crap out of me.

So you started getting seizures after a brain haemorage that's terrible. But thank God you got through the haemorage side, and that's something to be so thankful for, though I understand your total annoyance about it now.

hello my name is Julie i am also 39 and i've had epilepsy since i was 16. I suffer from several types of seizures grand mal,sudo seizures which is if i get to stressed i go into seizures and partial seizures. I was lucky enough to have 3 wonderful kids and i've been married for almost 20 years in may. i cannot drive but i feel pretty luck that i have a wonderful husband that takes care of me.But on the other hand i would like to talk with someone that sufferes from the same condition as me i'm here anytime you wanna chat.
